Ralphie is a 5 month old JRT/Chi mix. He will need a very special family to care for him as he has hydrocephalus and is on multiple medications which he will have to be on for life. This condition may also cause him to have seizures. He has not had any to this point, but he could in the future. He does display signs of neurological dysfunction. He walks and runs in circles. He has a “tick” to his head, and nystagmus (rapid eye movement). Despite all this he is still a puppy and does things most puppies do. He loves to play. Squeaky toys and treat toys are his favorite. He absolutely loves to cuddle. He will flop over on his side in a heartbeat for a belly rub. He gives tons of kisses and loves to be loved. Ralphie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He will need to be in a calmer home where he won’t get hurt and where he can be monitored in case of seizures. We are looking for someone experienced with his condition.
