Banner

Hi! My Name Is Banner

We're happy to tell you that Banner has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Banner is a beautiful 11 month old Neapolitan Mastiff. He was surrendered to our rescue because he has a seizure disorder that began a few months after his adoption. His people tried very hard to help him, but it developed into something they could no longer manage.

Banner did recently see the vet and he was diagnosed with epilepsy and hip dysplasia. We expect to be able to manage the epilepsy with medications. We have also started him on supplements for his hips. They do not seem to be posing a problem now but may in the future as he gets older.

Banner needs to find a home as soon as possible. We want to be able to get him situated with his new family so we can monitor his health conditions and start getting him trained. Banner needs to be in a home with someone experienced with his breed or similar mastiff breeds. He loves other dogs, we are not sure about cats. He has only been around older children. Banner is very sweet, but he does not understand his size and he is not done growing yet! He is not trained and can be destructive. Training is required as part of his adoption. We are willing to offer 2 weeks of in home training with our trainer, if needed. Owning your home is also an adoption requirement. Banner will be a wonderful addition to the right family and he can’t wait to find his new home.

***Applications will not be screened if they do not meet requirements.***
