Charlotte was a throwaway dog that was found scavenging for food. By the time she was rescued and taken to the shelter, she was extremely underweight, covered in fleas, and full of internal parasites. Charlotte also has major deformities in her front legs. Despite all this, she is the sweetest, most amazing dog you will ever meet. Charlotte is a 3 year old pit mix. She is currently up to date on vaccinations, lymes negative, heartworm positive, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. She will be spayed and heartworm treated soon. She is also going to have an orthopedic consultation soon to give us more information on her leg deformities. Charlotte is able to get around just fine with her legs the way they are, however the consultation will tell us if the deformities are correctable, if it will be better to try to correct them, or if it will be better just to leave her legs the way they are and proceed with pain management as she gets older. She is housebroken, crate trained, and gets along with most other animals. Charlotte does have a lot of issues to deal with however we are still taking applications on her. She would just be considered a foster to adopt since she still needs so many medical procedures. If you are interested in adopting Charlotte, please complete an application.
