Dante

My name is Dante. I'm a 6 year old Cane Corso. I was set to be euthanized in another shelter but the rescue saved me. I was emaciated and very sick. I am doing much better now though. I'm up to date on vaccinations, flea treated, wormed, heartworm/lymes negative, and microchipped.  I'm housebroken and working on obedience.  I don't care much to be crated.  I love toys and I'm always ready to play. The thing I love the most though is being with my person. We know Dante is an extremely handsome dog with a fun personality.  He absolutely is not a dog for everyone though.  He does have some guarding issues most likely due to the abuse he endured before he came to us.  He has multiple requirements for adoption. Dante will only be considered for individuals with cane corso or similar breed experience.  The home must have a secure, fully fenced in yard with no other dogs, no children and humans who will not be gone for more than 7-8 hours of the day.  If you do not meet these requirements, your application will not be screened or considered for Dante.
