Frannie is a sweet older girl who was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She has several health issues that need to be monitored. The first is her weight. She was so overweight that her front legs are actually damaged. She is currently on a diet and will need to remain on it until she reaches a healthy weight. The second is chronic lower respiratory disease and the third is a collapsing trachea. She is on medications for her breathing and will need to remain on them for the rest of her life. Frannie still likes to go for walks and wander around the yard doing typical dog things. It just has to be for short periods of time. She also loves being with people and cuddling or getting pets. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/lymes negative, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. Frannie would make a great companion for anyone that wants a less active dog but has the ability to care for her health issues.
