Miss Kialey is doing well right now. We are hoping to be able to start accepting applications for her in a few weeks. We believe the first diagnosis of Fanconi Syndrome given to her was incorrect. She spent 2 days with our vet and after many tests it appears she is diabetic and has mammary tumors. She was just spayed which will hopefully help her sugar levels as it did with Stevie. She is however still insulin dependent and requires daily insulin injections. After she heals from the spay and is better regulated, the doctor will look at removing her mammary chain (tumors). If the surgeries go well, we are hopeful that Kialey will have many years left with us.
