Myra just said good-bye to her last litter of puppies. She won't have to worry about having puppies any more. Now she can enjoy just being a dog. Her ears are listening for signs that someone is interested in her. Myra is a 6 year old German Shepherd Dog who is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, lymes positive (this will need to be monitored for flare ups), flea treated, wormed, spayed, and microchipped. Myra is getting a little older and has some aches and pains, so we have her on several supplements that she would need to remain on after adoption. She is also on medication twice a day for pain/anxiety. She tends to be a bit nervous when around strange people or in a new situation. Once she's comfortable though, she's very friendly. She generally prefers to keep to herself or be with her person. She tolerates calm dogs but would ideally do best as an only dog or with one that is indifferent to other dogs. She does not appear to like cats. NO children because of her nervousness and activity level. Myra loves toys and loves to play alone or with her person. She is protective of her home and person and would do best with someone with previous breed experience.
