Whiskey is a 3 year old terrier mix. He was adopted out of our rescue as a puppy but was just recently returned. He was very protective of his family’s children and when all 3 children were play fighting he got confused and nipped one of them. The bite was not bad. It only left a small bruise and did not break the skin. However after the incident the owners no longer felt comfortable keeping Whiskey and returned him to the rescue. Whiskey is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/lymes negative, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. He is housebroken, crate trained, and knows some commands. He loves toys and playing. His favorite game is tug. Whiskey seems to get along with most dogs but tends to try to be alpha even though he is small. We will cat test him. He would probably do best with older children or adults. He is initially shy and takes about a week to warm up so he will need a family that’s willing to be patient and give him time to get comfortable with change.
