Hamilton

Hamilton is healing up and loving life. He is literally the sweetest kitten ever. We do think that Hamilton may have some lasting issues from his injury though. It appears whatever traumatic event occurred that caused him to lose his tail may have also caused nerve damage to his rectum. Hamilton does use the litter box well, but when he has a bowel movement it doesn’t tend to push out completely. That then leaves some feces on his rectum that has to be cleaned. If it is not cleaned, it will build up like it was when he came into the rescue. We do not know if this damage is permanent or will heal, however at least right now, he does need to be cared for in this manner. We are hopeful that Hamilton’s loving personality will still win over a loving family that won’t mind the extra care he needs. We will start taking applications on Hamilton, however he will not be ready to be placed in a permanent home for a little while yet. If you are interested in adopting please submit an application.
