Athena was surrendered to the rescue along with Achilles. She is an extremely sweet dog, but she is very shy. She will need help with socialization and training. She had been living with two other dogs and does not seem to mind new dogs. Her behavior with cats is questionable. Due to previous abuse, she would be best suited for a home with no young children. Athena is about 1-2 years old. She is now spayed and fully vetted. We know with her sweet demeanor she will be a wonderful companion for somebody that will give her a chance to learn and come out of her shell. Training/socialization class is required for adoption.
