We are in need of a foster for this sweet old lady. Her daddy’s health has declined to the point that he had to be placed in a nursing home. Family is caring for her now but they are not able to keep her. We would like to find this beautiful girl a calm home where she can live out her golden years.
Piper is 17 years old. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea treated, wormed, and will be microchipped. She is on thyroid medicine and an anti-inflammatory for arthritis. She is also hard of hearing and sleeps quite a bit. She gets along well with other dogs that aren’t too hyper because she does not move around like she used to. She’s very very sweet but also very sad missing her owner. She was off her thyroid medicine for several months which is why her hair was falling out. She seems to be perking up somewhat now that she’s back on her meds. She is housebroken and very laid back. She hasn’t been cat tested yet but it is believed that she would be ok with them (we will test before placing her in a home with cats).
