Toby

Sweet little Toby is looking for a very special forever home. Toby is a 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier. He has some typical senior dog problems like arthritis and his vision is getting bad. However he also has congestive heart failure. That condition is currently being managed by two medications. Unfortunately Toby had never been neutered and now with this condition the vet feels it is unsafe to try to neuter him. He does sometimes try to mark in a new area but we just put a belly band on him and he’s fine. He seems to acclimate in a few days. Toby is very sweet and loves to be with people. That is actually his preference if he has a choice. He just wants to be curled up on or beside his person. He doesn’t mind dogs or cats, unless they keep getting in his personal space. He just doesn’t want to play or cuddle with other animals. He’s mostly indifferent to them.
