Kalon

We don’t do this often but we are going to start accepting applications for Ronan and Kalon as a foster to adopt. They are pit mixes and most likely will be quite large. They are about 4 months old now. These two pups still have medical issues we are working through, but at this point they would do better going to their forever home and allowing them to heal and grow at the same time. The worst of their issues is over. They both had severe rickets when they came to us. Both pups’ legs have straightened up well. We are maintaining them with diet, vitamins, and exercise. The other issue the pups are dealing with is demodex mange. This is not contagious and they have been receiving treatments and medicated baths. Ronan is healing well, Kalon is coming along, just a little bit slower.  This sometimes takes awhile to heal and hair to regrow. We would like to try to find the pups placement though, so they don’t spend their entire puppyhood in a crowded foster home. These two dogs love other dogs and just want to cuddle and play. We would like them to go into a home with another playful dog. We also are limiting the adoption area to local applicants because we need to monitor the medical issues. As with all our puppies, they must go to training. These two pups may have some health issues now, but it should all heal. They are crazy funny and loving. They will definitely make amazing companions.
