Kiwi

Hi! My Name Is Kiwi

We're happy to tell you that Kiwi has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Kiwi is an amazingly resilient little girl. She was found emaciated, clinging to life, scavenging for food in a landfill. The Good Samaritan who found her rushed her to the local shelter for help. They in turn rushed her to the emergency vet. We were then contacted and requested to take Kiwi into our rescue. How could we refuse this sweet little girl. After spending several days at the emergency vet she was transported to us. However she quickly became ill again and was taken back. She spent another week at the emergency vet receiving blood transfusions until her body finally began to function properly and she was released. Kiwi is finally healthy now with no residual effects from her ordeal. She is up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She is doing well with house breaking and crate training. She is very active and loves to play. She is a bit of a velcro dog and loves her person. Kiwi likes most other dogs and we think she would do best in a home with another playful dog. She is currently in a foster home with cats. She does harass them a bit, but does not hurt them. If you are interested in adopting Kiwi, please complete an application.
