Pepper

Pepper is a 1 year old shepherd/collie mix. She was surrendered as her family was dealing with some serious health issues and did not have the time to give her the life she deserved. Pepper is up to date on vaccinations, flea treated, wormed, heartworm/lymes negative, and microchipped. She has not been spayed yet due to difficulties scheduling with the vet because of COVID, but will be as soon as we can get her in. Pepper is a super sweet dog but is very active. She needs an active family that will give her the attention she needs. She also will need to work on obedience skills as she is still a puppy but has not been taught anything yet. Pepper is crate trained but cannot remain in the crate for longer periods of time. She is working on house breaking and doing well. Pepper seems to like most dogs, but other dogs would need to be able to tolerate her energy and lack of training. We are not sure about cats yet, but will test her soon. No small children. Since Pepper has not been spayed yet, currently we are looking for a foster home for her. Fosters would be able to adopt once her vetting is complete. We would like the foster/adopter to have a fenced in yard. Training will be mandatory for adoption.
